End the day

At the end of the day you close your workday in two steps: first you count what is left in your van, then you count the money you collected. Your supervisor checks both, and the money moves from your accounts to the company’s.

If you have no van, you only take orders, so there is nothing to count: End of Day shows only Cash Reconciliation, and you go straight to Hand over your cash.

Before you start, check out of your last visit and make sure you have a signal: the end of day needs a live connection.

  1. On the Home tab, tap End of Day. The screen shows your Workday date and two tasks.
  2. Tap Inventory Count. Stock Reconciliation lists every item in your van with the System quantity on record.
  3. Count each item and enter it in Actual. Search or scan to find an item quickly.
  4. Tap Submit Count. If some lines are not counted yet, the app asks you to Review counts or Submit anyway.

The app says Stock Count Submitted, and Inventory Count shows Under Review until your supervisor closes it in the back office. A line you do not touch is sent at the quantity on record, so count every item before you submit, or a missing item goes unnoticed.

If you have a van, you can count your cash only once your van count is submitted.

  1. On End of Day, tap Cash Reconciliation.
  2. Count the notes and coins you hold, and enter the total in Total Cash on Hand.
  3. Add up your card slips and transfer confirmations, and enter the total in Total Clearing on Hand.
  4. Explain any difference in Notes / Explanation.
  5. Tap Designate & Submit. If your count differs from what the server expects, the app shows Variance detected; tap Submit to send it as counted.

Reconciliation submitted confirms what you handed over, with the result the server recorded. Your workday is now complete: the app says Today’s workday is completed, and new visits and sales wait until tomorrow. Hand the cash to your supervisor, who approves the end of day in the back office.

Depending on your company’s settings, the screen shows the System Cash and System Clearing the server expects, or hides them so you count blind.
